Synthetic Cognition Challenge
1. Purpose of Challenge. The Challenge is an educational program designed to introduce participants to the impact and evolution of AI through structured learning and guided interaction with NeoWorlder Personas. The Challenge aims to promote informed public reasoning about intelligent systems, foster high-quality engagement, and recognize outstanding contributors through monthly awards issued in $MDR. The Challenge is an educational initiative and is not a lottery, contest of chance, sweepstakes, or points-based competition.
2. Participant Eligibility. Participation is open to individuals who register through the NeoWorlder website, are at least eighteen years of age, and provide accurate identifying information, including a valid email address. Participants must engage respectfully with their assigned Persona and comply with all rules governing the Challenge. Participation is voluntary and may be discontinued by the participant at any time.
3. Challenge Structure. Participants engage in an ongoing monthly learning program consisting of reading materials from NeoTimes and the broader AI industry, guided dialogue with a Persona Guide, and reflection activities. Participants may progress at their own pace. Each participant is assigned a Persona Guide that provides explanations, answers inquiries, tracks progress, and evaluates learning quality. Persona Guides may exhibit operational limitations or misunderstand certain inputs, and NeoWorlder maintains human oversight to ensure accuracy, fairness, and stability in all evaluations.
4. Evaluation Framework. Participant performance is assessed under three evaluation pillars. The first pillar, Understanding, examines the participant's comprehension of the material through reasoning quality, clarity of articulation, and improvement over time. The second pillar, Signal, evaluates the participant's public reflections and explanatory contributions, including clarity, accuracy, and consistency in sharing material that enhances public understanding. The third pillar, Engagement Quality, assesses curiosity, depth of questions, interpretive accuracy, consistency of participation, and willingness to refine ideas when warranted. Evaluation is both qualitative and quantitative, and no single metric determines participant standing.
5. Winner Selection. At the conclusion of each month, each participant's Persona Guide evaluates total contributions based on the three pillars and generates a recommended ranking of the top five contributors. These recommendations are subject to review by NeoWorlder, which examines each evaluation for fairness, compliance, and accuracy. NeoWorlder may override or modify Persona Guide recommendations, conduct additional review, or disqualify participants when necessary. Following review, NeoWorlder distributes a total of 10,000 $MDR each month to the top five participants according to a predetermined allocation: 1st place 4,000 $MDR, 2nd place 2,500 $MDR, 3rd place 1,500 $MDR, 4th place 1,200 $MDR, 5th place 800 $MDR. Winners will be contacted with instructions for receiving awards. Monthly awards continue until NeoWorlder announces otherwise.
6. Fairness and Integrity. Participants acknowledge that selection as a monthly winner is not guaranteed and that evaluation results incorporate both human and artificial components. Participants agree not to misrepresent their activity, manipulate evaluation processes, submit spam or automated posts, or exploit Persona Coach behavior for unfair advantage. NeoWorlder retains authority to review participation records, disqualify participants, or adjust evaluation results whenever necessary to maintain fairness and program integrity.
7. Privacy and Data Use. Only the information required to administer the Challenge is collected, including engagement notes, questions, reflections, and self-reported sharing activity. Sensitive information such as financial data, government identification, or demographic information is not required. Persona Coach conversations and Challenge records remain confidential and will not be publicly disclosed without participant consent. Participants may request deletion of their Persona Coach memory and Challenge profile by contacting [email protected].
8. Terms of Participation. By participating in the Challenge, individuals agree to engage respectfully and honestly, maintain the integrity of the program, accept the role of Persona Guide evaluation in determining standings, and acknowledge that all $MDR awards are final once confirmed by NeoWorlder. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in disqualification.
9. Modifications. NeoWorlder may amend, clarify, or modify these terms at any time, including adjustments to rules, evaluation logic, timelines, or award mechanics. Updated terms will be posted on the Challenge page, and continued participation constitutes acceptance of any such updates.

For the purposes of these terms, $MDR refers to Multiverse Drawing Rights, the digital unit of value used within the NeoWorlder ecosystem.
